Payment channels\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fh2>\u003Cp>Payments are processed by Payment Asia, a PCI DSS and ISO 27001 certified payment service provider. Accepted methods include credit card, Alipay \u002F Alipay HK, WeChat Pay and other channels shown at checkout. HKCCA does not store your card or e-wallet details.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch1>\u003Cstrong style=\"color: rgb(31, 78, 95);\">Part A — Event Registration Fees\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fh1>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>A1. Cancellation by the participant. \u003C\u002Fstrong>Requests must be made in writing to info@hkcca.com.hk quoting the registration reference number.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>•     7 or more calendar days before the event: full refund, less the non-refundable payment processing fee.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>•     3–6 calendar days before the event: 50% refund.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>•     Fewer than 3 calendar days before the event, or non-attendance: no refund.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>A2. Free events. \u003C\u002Fstrong>No payment is taken, therefore no refund arises. If you cannot attend, please cancel via the platform or by email so that the place can be released to another person.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>A3. Cancellation or postponement by HKCCA. \u003C\u002Fstrong>You may choose a full refund (including the payment processing fee). If an event is postponed, registrations transfer automatically to the new date; if you cannot attend the new date, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the notice.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>A4. Adverse weather. \u003C\u002Fstrong>If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or the Black Rainstorm Warning, is in force within 2 hours of the start time, the event will be cancelled or postponed. Refund arrangements follow A3.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch1>\u003Cstrong style=\"color: rgb(31, 78, 95);\">Part B — Donations\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fh1>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>B1. Donations are non-refundable. \u003C\u002Fstrong>Donations to HKCCA are voluntary gifts and are not refundable once processed.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>B2. Exceptions. \u003C\u002Fstrong>A refund may be considered where there has been a duplicate charge, an incorrect amount entered in error, or an unauthorised or fraudulent payment. Requests must be made within 30 days of the transaction date, in writing to info@hkcca.com.hk, quoting the transaction reference. Each case is reviewed individually and supporting information may be requested.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>B3. Tax-deductible receipts. \u003C\u002Fstrong>HKCCA is a charitable institution exempt from tax under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (IR File No. [91\u002F17744]). Receipts could be issued for donations of HK$100 or above upon request. If a donation is refunded, any receipt issued will be voided and may not be used for tax deduction purposes.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>B4. Recurring donations. \u003C\u002Fstrong>Monthly or recurring donations may be cancelled at any time via by writing to us. Cancellation takes effect for future instalments only; instalments already collected are not refunded.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch1>\u003Cstrong style=\"color: rgb(31, 78, 95);\">Part C — How Refunds Are Processed\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fh1>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>C1. Original payment method only. \u003C\u002Fstrong>Refunds are returned through Payment Asia to the same card or e-wallet used for the original payment. We cannot refund to a different card, account or person.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>C2. Timing. \u003C\u002Fstrong>Approved refunds are submitted to Payment Asia within 14 working days. The date on which the money appears in your account is determined by your card issuer or e-wallet operator and is outside HKCCA’s control; this typically takes a further 2 to 30 days. Please allow the full period to elapse before making an enquiry.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>C3. Fees and exchange rates. \u003C\u002Fstrong>Payment processing fees are not returned to HKCCA when a refund is made and, except under A3, are not refundable to you. Certain payment channels also charge a refund processing fee, which will be deducted from the amount refunded. For payments made in a currency other than Hong Kong dollars, or through Alipay or WeChat Pay, the refunded amount may differ from the amount originally paid due to exchange-rate movements. Event registration. \u003C\u002Fstrong>A confirmation email, including an e-ticket or QR code where applicable, is sent to the registered email address within 24 hours of successful payment.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>3. Donations. \u003C\u002Fstrong>An acknowledgement email is sent within 24 hours of the transaction. Where a tax-deductible receipt applies, it is issued by email (or by post on request) within 14 working days.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>4. Non-receipt. \u003C\u002Fstrong>Please check your junk or spam folder first. Accuracy of contact details. \u003C\u002Fstrong>You are responsible for providing a valid email address.
